Definition: A vocabulary of technical terms used in a particular field, subject, science, or art.
Reference Definition: A set of terms, concepts and codes in a specific subject field whose meanings have been defined or are generally understood. The purpose of a terminology is to provide a clear and unambiguous way to describe concepts so that two or more individuals can gain a shared meaning of those concepts. Terminology MUST be able to distinguish when two items are the same and terminology SHOULD be able to distinguish precisely how non-identical items are similar and different.
